How do I get to the island?

The island is accessible only by boat. You'll travel to Kuloro village (about 1.5 hours from Banjul) and take a 5-minute boat ride to the island. We can arrange pickup from Banjul or the airport.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, we recommend booking at least a few days in advance, especially for overnight stays and during peak season. Day trips can sometimes be arranged with shorter notice.

What should I bring?

Light, comfortable clothing, sunscreen, insect repellent, a hat, and a camera. If you plan to swim, bring swimwear. The island provides towels and basic amenities.

Is the island suitable for children?

Yes! Families are welcome. We have family rooms available and plenty of activities suitable for children. Please let us know the ages of children when booking.

What is the best time to visit?

The dry season (November to April) offers the best weather. The low season runs from late April to September – while it may rain, the island is lush and beautiful, and rates may be lower.

Is there WiFi on the island?

We have limited WiFi available. We encourage guests to disconnect and enjoy the natural surroundings, but connectivity is available for essential needs.

Can I host a private event?

Absolutely! We host weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. Contact us to discuss your requirements and we'll create a custom package.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash (GMD, EUR, GBP, USD) and can arrange bank transfers. Contact us for specific payment arrangements.
